Hi, I’m Francesca, and welcome to Paqui’s Land Blog: my journey into collage!
I’m still fairly new to the world of collage—it’s been just about a year since I first picked up paper and scissors to start this incredible life-changing adventure. Originally from the beautiful Marche region in Italy, I’ve spent over a decade traveling and living abroad, with a deep connection to Spain (hence my nickname, Paqui).
Collage came into my life quite unexpectedly during a business trip to Madrid, and I’ve been hooked ever since. While I don’t consider myself an “artist” in the traditional sense, I’ve embraced the role of a “story-builder.” My collages are made up of pieces that reflect emotions, dreams, and the contradictions of life. Each one is a journey in itself – often surprising me with where it leads.
As someone new to this art form, I approach it with humility and a sense of discovery. There’s so much to learn, and I’m excited to keep evolving. Through this blog, I hope to share not only my finished collages but also some process, inspirations, tips, reflections!
My journey with collage started on Instagram, but I’m eager to use this space to connect more deeply with you. Whether you’re an experienced artist, a fellow beginner, or just someone who enjoys creative work, I hope these stories and images resonate with you.
